Tales of the Shepherd - Devlog #2
Tales of the Shepherd » Devlog
One week has passed since our first demo release, and a lot of work has been done.
Out of the ToDo's listed in last week's devlog, we implemented the following changes:
- Based on your feedback, we added the ability for the player to bump into objects to interact with them. The same also works for enemies, where the combat mode is now activated automatically.
- To make collecting items more fluid we also added the ability to pick up objects by walking over them. This doesn't work for enemies, since it could lead to the player looting a whole stack of them mid combat.
- The combat log no longer interrupts the player. We added a general log at the top left, which shows all events affecting or caused by the player.
Our plans for next week include:
- Adding custom keybindings
- Adding audio support
- Improving the visuals
Cheers
